65 Point Something

Place:Our College....

It was a Gorgeous Day and Sam ringed me at 7:30 A.M and we headed to the college.Sam was @ his usual best looking like Brad Pitt ;)..n me in my usual torn blue nike sneakers with a blue shirt matching the heaven.

It was a Big Day 4 us as Infy was ringing the bells for all the studs .Wipro was the 1st one and indeed not to mention they were the first one to dump us too :(

The "Story of a life Time".....Ooppssss Sorry "Story of Our Life Time" had just begun on a Black CBZ headed towards the College like a bull...with the breeze kissing our hair and the potholes crushing our bones .

We stopped @Adigas for our famous idli..vada..sambar and we enjoyed our breakfast hitting each other with all the puzzels from S.Devi and George Summers.

Sam had eaten and digested all the puzzles from Shakuntala Devi and i had literally drunk George Summers along with the coffee on the table.

The only thing that would stop us from getting in to infy were those stupid nonsense non technical questions for an absolute rubbish pure technical job ;)

We had all the plans ready and we had finished our homework neatly to execute our answers just like a piece of C code. We choosed our seats right in front of the Black Board close to the wall towards the left so that we weren't caught discussing the answers.

Pattern was Multiple Choice ...with 4 options and our simple code would work like this..finger pointing our forehead would be option 1 ..2 was for the nose...3 for the lips n 4 for the chin.We din't have to talk to discuss nor peep in to each other answer booklets to knw the answer.All we had to do was point the finger on one of our senses for a particular question.

A bang on the bench meant that we had finished 5 questions in a sequence.

My G-SHOCK clocked to 65 and we were done encrypting all the questions.

About an hour later all the names would be announced in the hall .Each and every one who had taken the exams were eagerly waiting for the results..

Sandy had eaten all his nails waiting and Y.p cudn take his eyes of the hot Infy H.R Anjali Varma(Damn she was prettier than Anjelina Jolie). First Name was Shru from C.S...n every one applauded next was Rahul Jain from Mech followed by our own shishya Rocky(Rakesh..Rockesh..Rake..what ever :D)..n we were so damn happy as he was the first one from our Branch n the shileeees(whistles) wudn stop for some time.

Sam Sylevester SwamyNathan was the 22nd name to be called out and that was the end of the world for us.Sam had made it through n i cud see the world in his eyes.Truly was so happy for him and hoping that my name too would be on Anjali's Gorgeous Lips ;)

Time was ticking ..My heart was running ...n my mind was thinking keeeeeeeeMeraaa Number Kaab Aiegaaaaaaaa??????????????????????

58 names had been announced and Gorgeous Anjalie turned her page as if there were no more names on the other sides...My Heart stopped which was running like Usain Bolt belting the 100m sprint in Olympics.It was one of those moments where i felt it was the End of the World for "ME".The next moment xxx xxx xxx was there on her lips and that was ME who had made it . Satty was holding my neck n Sam was holding my hand as though we were playing Ringa Ringa Roses....All the Way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..We jumped around..Hugged each other as though we were made 4 Each Other.. Looking in to each others eyes beleving that we had won the world :D:D

This was one of those moments where i could truley feel the feeling of FriendShip..Right there!!!!

Life would never be the same for me and Sam again as we had cracked Infy .

We knew that we never had 65% aggregate in our previous semsesters to get in to infy.We had mislead our Recruiting officer who wouldn't have allowed us if we were honest.

But who are they kidding..we had made it thru Infy n we had 3 semesters to make up for the aggregate.

Sam belted distinctions in the next 3 semsters and so did i and our next destination was indeed "Infy Mysore".

"Distinction" wasn't easy ..How did we mangae to get them without studying...well u'll have to wait for another blog :P

Where's the fun in doing all the right thing the right way ;)
